LEI Grants 2020 – Submissions Now Open!

The Learning Enhancement and Innovation 2020 Grant scheme is now open for submissions.

The Grant scheme is designed to support small-scale pilots and initiatives, fostering investigation and dissemination of best practice approaches in learning and teaching. Grants are available to University of Adelaide staff and students to investigate, experiment, implement, and/or evaluate effective learning and teaching practices aligned with the 2020 LEI Grant theme “Champion diversity in learning”.

Applications should provide a clear problem/challenge statement and align with at least one of the following areas:

  • Adaptive and/or personalised learning;
  • New approaches to support student group/teamwork;
  • Building student capability to fully engage in learning/assessment methods;
  • Embedding accessibility and inclusivity online and in the classroom;
  • Embedding cultural diversity in learning and teaching.

A total of $30,000 has been allocated to the scheme, with a maximum of $6,000 for any one funded project. Funds may only be used for learning technologies (software, devices, and services), student salary, or external evaluation/analysis.

Projects should be collaborative in nature and Project Leads will be expected to collaborate with one or more members of the Learning Enhancement and Innovation unit and at least one student. Collaborators should contribute and be recognised as part of the project team.

Submissions for the 2020 Learning Enhancement and Innovation Grant scheme close on 13 March 2020.
