The University of Adelaide Press was launched in 2009 by Nobel prize-winning author J M Coetzee.
The main aim of the Press is to publish new peer-reviewed books by Adelaide scholars from all disciplines using digital technology in print and web. The website is: www.adelaide.edu.au/press.
The revolution in digital publishing is so fundamental that it is hard to grasp the changes. It is much more than being able to read a book on a computer or an iPad. The old restrictions such low print runs, national territories, distributors only marketing block-busters, are out the window and information about all sorts of topics is now freely or cheaply available. Our blog has been set up to tackle some of the topics around these changes.
