This opportunity uses the U01 Research Project – Cooperative Agreements mechanism.
This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) invites applications for the establishment of a clinical consortium, composed of one Coordination and Data Management Center (CDMC) and up to 9 Clinical Centers (CC), to conduct studies on chronic pancreatitis (CP) and factors that increase the risk of pancreatic cancer in patients (children and adults) with CP, pancreatogenic (type 3c) diabetes (T3cDM) and in patients with newly diagnosed diabetes.
Funding & Duration
Application budgets are limited to US $1M in direct costs, exclusive of facilities & administration costs for consortium and subcontract arrangements. Maximum award period is five years.

Non-domestic (non-U.S.) Entities (Foreign Institutions) are eligible to apply.
Submission Requirements & Due Dates
- 2 March 2015 – Letter of Intent (LOI) via Grants.Gov submission portal.
- Copy of LOI forwarded to the Research Branch ASAP.
- 19 March 2015 – full applications submitted to the Research Branch for internal review.
