National Institutes of Health: Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease in Older Adults (R21)

This opportunity uses the R21 Exploratory/Developmental Research Grants funding mechanism.

Applications are invited for this scheme that propose basic, clinical, and epidemiological outcomes research on the impact of age on the development of, diagnosis, and management of diabetes and cardiovascular disease (CVD) complications in older persons or animal models.

Funding & Duration

The combined budget for direct costs for the two year project period may not exceed US $275,000. No more than US $200,000 may be requested in any single year. The maximum project period is 2 years.

Non-domestic (non-U.S.) Entities (Foreign Institutions) are eligible to apply

Submission Requirements

Applications must be accompanied by a signed and completed copy of the University’s Grant Application Cover Sheet. Submissions may be emailed to the Research Branch unless otherwise specified.
