Australian Army: Army Research Scheme 2015

The Australian Army’s Strategic Plans Branch is seeking service providers to undertake paid research on topics that will inform future land force development and modernisation.

Areas of interest are wide ranging and include operational, technological, social, cultural and organisational topics. Researchers from all disciplines are encouraged to apply.

The research outcomes sought are either articles (3,000 to 5,000 words) or stand alone papers (10,000 to 20,000 words). Army will facilitate publication of research in the first instance in either the Australian Army Journal or the Army Research Papers Series.

Funding & Duration

Currently the upper limit for research funded through the Army Research Scheme is $80,000. It is expected that Army will receive the contracted deliverable within 12 months of the project’s start.

Eligibility

Researchers from all disciplines are eligible to apply.

Submission Requirements

Applications must be accompanied by a signed and completed copy of the University’s Grant Application Cover Sheet. Submissions may be emailed to the Research Branch unless otherwise specified.
