Heart Foundation: Postdoctoral Fellowships 2015

Heart Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowships are available to PhD graduates in the first 3 years after obtaining their PhD., to support the best and brightest cardiovascular researchers.

The Postdoctoral Fellowship encourages and supports early career cardiovascular health researchers to develop research skills and independence from an early stage. In doing so, it helps further their research career as they become more competitive for future funding from a range of sources.

Funding & Duration

Stipends are awarded at $75,000 pro rata per annum for 2 years.

Eligibility

Applicants must be in their first 3 years post awarding of their PhD on the application closing date, in any area of cardiovascular health research, including biomedical, clinical, public health and health service delivery.

Submission Requirements & Internal Due Date

Applications must be submitted for internal review by 17 April 2015

Submitted applications must be accompanied by a signed and completed copy of the University’s Grant Application Cover Sheet.

Applications may be emailed to the Research Branch unless otherwise specified.
