Background
In December 2014 Universities Australia signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) which officially established the Australia Germany Joint Research Cooperation Scheme.
The scheme constitutes an expansion of the existing cooperation schemes between the DAAD and the Group of Eight (since 2006) and the Australian Technology Network (since 2010). It will fund the exchange of academics working on joint research projects and has a focus on early career researchers.
Workshop
This workshop aims to benefit two groups:
1. University administrators who will assist in managing the scheme at each institution
2. Academics/researchers interested in applying for funding.
The workshop will include a presentation about the UA-DAAD scheme including history, expansion, selection and application procedures, timelines for administration and deadlines for applicants.
Workshop presenter, Kerrie Thornton, will also be available to answer individual questions from researchers who wish to speak with her on a one on one basis.
RSVP
