Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF): Research Grants 2015

The Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF) seeks to support all aspects of cancer control (i.e. prevention, early detection, treatment and/or management) through research, with a focus on providing single capital grants for major items of scientific equipment, and for new research infrastructure.


The ACRF funds cancer research under the following categories:

  1. Capital Works
  2. Major equipment grants
  3. Highly specialised reagents / standards / etc., that are essential for the operation of the equipment to be purchased in support of the detailed cancer research program. This must be a minor (<25%) part of the project budget.

Grant Applications for amounts between $1.5m and $5m are sought.


Applications describing collaborative research programs between institutions are strongly encouraged.

Submission Requirements & Internal Due Date

Applications must be submitted for internal review by 19 June 2015.

Submitted applications must be accompanied by a signed and completed copy of the University’s Grant Application Cover Sheet.

Applications may be emailed to the Research Branch unless otherwise specified.
