Arthritis Australia: Leanne Stafford Award 2016

The overarching objectives of Arthritis Australia’s National Research Program are to support:

  • specific research projects into arthritis and other musculoskeletal disorders, and
  • foster the career development of scientists and clinical investigators committed to research into arthritis and allied disorders.

The Leanne Stafford Award is to support a young Australian rheumatologist or Australian graduate in the pursuit of a year of research or clinical experience in an interstate or overseas institute.

Funding & Duration

Fellowships are awarded as a stipend to the value of AUD $50,000, for a period of 12 months.

Eligibility

To be eligible, the candidate must be a rheumatologist who has completed their advanced training within the preceding five (5) years.

Submission Requirements & Internal Due Date

Applications must be submitted for internal review by 10 July 2015.

Submitted applications must be accompanied by a signed and completed copy of the University’s Grant Application Cover Sheet.
