International Myeloma Foundation: Brian D. Novis Senior Research Award 2016

The International Myeloma Foundation funds several research grants including the Brian D. Novis Research Award. These grants are provided through donations from private individuals, and are presented annually by the International Myeloma Foundation.

Senior Research Awards are targeted to established investigators with a track record in myeloma or related disorders, and are designed for projects which represent a different focus, direction, or area of research from those in which they are currently funded.  In most cases, these awards will be for pilot projects to obtain sufficient funding for larger applications from NIH or similar larger funding agencies.

Funding & Duration

This year’s awards will be in the amount of USD $80,000 (approx. AUD $102,000), for 1 year.

Applicants must have the ability to provide a completed application with evidence of a meritorious research project.

Submission Requirements

Applications must be submitted to the Research Branch for internal review by 27 July 2015.

Submitted applications must be accompanied by a signed and completed copy of the University’s Grant Application Cover Sheet. Submissions may be emailed to the Research Branch unless otherwise specified.
