Motor Neurone Disease Research Institute of Australia: Grants in Aid 2016

The MND Research Institute of Australia provides seed-funding for research that is innovative and having a clear relationship to the causes, treatments and cures of MND or the support of people living with MND.

The following grants which are offered for 2016:

  • Angie Cunningham MND Research Grant for scientific research relevant to the cause, treatment or cure of motor neurone disease.
  • Cunningham Collaboration Grant for scientific research relevant to the cause, treatment or cure of motor neurone disease and is part of a new international collaboration.
  • Jenny Barr Smith MND Research Grant for scientific research relevant to the cause, treatment or cure of motor neurone disease.
  • MonSTaR MND Research Grant for scientific research relevant to the cause, treatment or cure of motor neurone disease.

The list will grow when funds are received later in the year and will include some special conditions nominated by the grant sponsors.

Funding & Duration

Applications for grants-in-aid up to a maximum value of $100,000 will be considered.

Eligibility

Refer to criteria for individual schemes on the MND website.

Submission Requirements & Internal Due Date

Applications must be submitted for internal review by 21 August 2015.

Submitted applications must be accompanied by a signed and completed copy of the University’s Grant Application Cover Sheet.

Applications may be emailed to the Research Branch unless otherwise specified.
