On Monday, 6 July, the Australian Research Council (ARC) is scheduled to launch its new website.
The website has been designed to meet Website Content and Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 embedded in the Australian Government’s National Transition Strategy (NTS).
Update Your Bookmarks
The website address www.arc.gov.au will remains the same.
However, if you currently have any bookmarks created for pages to the current ARC website you will need to update those bookmarks following the launch of the new website, as it is likely they will no longer work.
Should you have any trouble locating the page or document you are looking for when we move to the new website, please do not hesitate to contact the Stakeholder Relations team at the ARC who will be able to assist you and lead you to the home of the information on our new website.
Stakeholder Sneak Peek
The ARC have created a video to allow stakeholders a ‘sneak peek’ at the new website prior to launch.

Funding Opportunities & Post Award Resources
We wanted to make it easier for stakeholders to find out more information about what funding opportunities exist through the ARC and what grants we have already funded. For this reason our new website has two menu items covering our National Competitive Grants Program. Under Funding Opportunities, where you will find information about:
- the ARC’s funding schemes
- what type of grants you can apply for
- information required by applicants
- information specifically for international researchers and industry collaboration
- peer review at the ARC, and of course
- ARC important dates.
And Funded Research, where you will find:
- information about managing grants post-award
- the most recent funding outcomes under the Discovery and Linkage Programs,
- full ARC grants dataset.
