About this Event

  • Are you an early career researcher?
  • Have you ever considered partnering with industry to develop research to solve industry problems?

You are invited to attend this information session on the State Government’s Innovation Voucher Program which aims to connect researchers to local industry to develop new products or
processes and drive productivity and business profitability in the local economy.

Vouchers up to $50,000 are awarded on a competitive basis to eligible researchers that partner with SMEs with an annual turnover of less than $200 million.

Guest Speakers

Professor Wei Zhang from Flinders University will discuss his project with South Australian company Ferguson Australia, turning lobster wastes into profitable value-added products.

He will also discuss the benefits of industry collaboration, lessons learned, how to manage industry expectations and how to deliver product outcomes that have a positive contribution to the South Australian Economy.
