New Measures to Control the Export of Defence and Strategic Goods – Effective as of 2 April 2016

The Defence Trade Controls Act (DTCA) offence provisions commence on 2 April 2016.

The DTCA creates criminal offences for the intangible supply, publication and brokering of controlled goods and technologies listed on the Defence and Strategic Goods List (DSGL) to an entity outside of Australia without a permit.

All staff who may require an export permit should contact Scott Willoughby (Export Controls Officer for the University of Adelaide).
