The Sanfilippo Children’s Foundation is currently calling for expressions of interest for:
- Translational Research Grants which provide funding for projects with significant potential to move through the translational pipeline towards treatment. This includes pre-clinical and clinical research to develop new treatments.
- Incubator Grants which focus on small scale projects investigating bright new ideas with the potential to generate results that may attract larger scale funding.
Funding & Duration
Translational Research Grants are funding for projects with significant potential to move through the translational pipeline towards treatment. This includes pre-clinical and clinical research to develop new treatments. Projects will be funded up to $500k/year for up to 3 years.
Incubator Grants focus on small scale projects investigating bright new ideas with the potential to generate results that may attract larger scale funding. Projects will be funded up to $90k for 1 year if a salary is included in the costing. If a salary for the researcher has already been secured from another funding body, applications within the region of $25k would be considered.
