The B/HERT Awards were initiated in 1998 to highlight the benefits of collaboration and enhance links between industry and universities. These national prestigious awards are recognised annually in the fields of Research & Development and Education & Training.
The following awards are presented at the B/HERT Awards Dinner in November every year:
- Best Research & Development Collaboration Award
- Best Higher Education & Training Collaboration Award
- Best Community Engagement Collaboration Award
A new award has been introduced in 2016 – the Best Research Translation Award
Prize
Winners of the B/HERT Awards will be announced at the Dinner on Tuesday November 15 2016 in Melbourne, at the Crown Towers, Palladium C.
The winner in each category will be presented with a trophy at the Awards Dinner.
Eligibility
All business/university collaborative programs or projects in research & development and education & training are eligible to apply.
Collaborative partnerships may involve one or more tertiary education institutions, one or more industry partners, and/or international partners as long as there is one Australian entity involved in the project.
Submission Requirements
Applications are submitted directly to the Sponsor by 9 September 2016.
