Fondation Fyssen: Research Grants 2016

The Fondation Fyssen provides Research Grants in the areas of: ethology-psychology; neurobiology; anthropology-ethnology; human paleontology; and, archaeology.

Funding & Duration

Research grants awards range from €15,000 to €30,000 (approx. AUD $22,000 – $44,000). The 12-month grant is intended to cover equipment purchase, budgets dedicated to missions, participation in colloquiums, and publications expenses. Research must be conducted in France.


Research grants are intended to support either French or foreign postdoctoral researchers. The maximum eligible age is 35 years for the biological sciences, and 40 years in the human sciences, on the closing date.
