Australasian Systematic Botany Society (ASBS): Hansjörg Eichler Scientific Research Fund 2016 (Round 2)

The Australasian Systematic Botany Society (ASBS) provides funding for research grants pertaining to Australasian systematic botany.

Projects must contribute to Australasian systematic botany (including cryptogams) and must be carried out within Australasia.

Funding & Duration

The maximum grant awarded will be $5,000.


Applications are welcomed from all current financial members of the Australasian Systematic Botany Society. The applicant must be attached to an Australian research institute (in the very broadest sense, including herbaria, universities, government agencies) They need not be on staff but the institution must support their application. Students, recent graduates and newly-established botanists will be given preference.
