Date: 23-25 November 2016
Venue: Hawke Building, University of South Australia, City West Campus
The AEN began in 2009 at the University of Wollongong at a time when research ethics was relatively new to the academic sector. The 2016 meeting will mark the 6th conference of the AEN and is a significant landmark as this event aims to bring together research ethics committee members, administrators, researchers and research support staff across both academic and health settings to encourage cross sector discussion and collaboration.
Research ethics in an age of advancing technology and innovation
The AEN 2016 Conference will explore in detail how all research disciplines and the research and research ethics communities in Australia can prepare for innovation by better understanding: what kinds of challenges this era of innovation brings our way; how we can utilise innovation to improve processes; and importantly to identify and address the ethical implications of those innovations.
