Australian National Nuclear Research and Development Organisation (ANSTO): Funding to attend Berlin Neutron School 2-10 March, 2017

As a consequence of the recent high-level scientific-cooperation agreement signed between Helmholtz-Zentrum-Berlin (HZB) and ANSTO, ANSTO will fund two Australian-based PhD students or post-doctoral fellows to attend the Berlin Neutron School to be held March 2 – 10, 2017. Australian Institute of Nuclear Science and Engineering (AINSE) is also offering travel support of up to $1,000 to each successful applicant.

The school will comprise lectures about the production of neutrons, neutron scattering in general, the different neutron-scattering techniques, overviews of neutron science at various facilities, hands-on experimental sessions, and a students’ poster session.

2)     Curriculum Vitae

3)     Have your supervisor send separately a supervisor report.

The two successful applicants are expected to attend the whole school.

Successful applicants will be informed on 12 December 2016.
