NHMRC is participating in a GACD Request for Applications (RFA) on the prevention and management of mental disorders in Low-to-Middle-Income Countries (LMICs) and Indigenous communities in high income countries.
As part of this call, NHMRC is encouraging applications that address the prevention and management of mental disorders in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations.
Funding
NHMRC has allocated a total of AUD $4.75 million for this RFA. Duration of successful grants will be for five years or less. NHMRC will only fund the direct costs of the research proposal.
Eligibility
The Chief Investigator A (CIA) must be based in Australia. Where the work will be mainly carried out in low and middle income countries, it would be expected at least one Chief Investigator (other than CIA) on the application will be from the country where the work will take place.
Submission Requirements & Due Date
- Minimum Data due 15 February 2017
- Applications must be submitted for internal review by 22 February 2017
- Submit an Application to the Research Branch for Review
