A list of Field of Research (FoR) and Socio-Economic Objective (SEO) codes are available on the Research Services website.

When entering codes into your eForm, remember that you can type in the full 6 digit code, part of a code, or part of a name into the Classification Name/Code field to search.

Note: Do not press the enter key, but instead click the magnifying glass once you have entered the text in the search bar. If only one match is found, it will be automatically returned.

If multiple matches are found, select the correct code from the search results (select 6 digit code only).

Once the correct code is returned, enter the relevant percentage between 1 and 100 then click OK.
