The mission of the Creswick Foundation is to
- improve knowledge in Australia of the emotional, social, and psychological problems affecting children and adolescents and their families and communities; and
- give guidance to those involved in treating and preventing such conditions.
Fellowships awarded by the Foundation enable successful applicants to spend up to three months in one or more approved locations overseas to gain knowledge and experience in the Foundation’s fields of interest.
Funding & Duration
Generally, two or three fellowships are awarded in the range of $10,000 to $20,000 each. The Foundation will pay the return economy airfare and the overseas living expenses of the successful candidate for up to three months.
Eligibility
Applications are invited from practitioners in relevant fields like teachers, nurses, social workers, allied health workers, psychiatrists and other professional persons or carers who are experienced in the Foundation’s areas of interest.
Applications related to completing a post-graduate qualification are generally not considered.
