The aim of the Gilead Australia Fellowship: Research Grants Program is to support the development, exploration and implementation of best practice in enhancing patient care in the specific disease areas of HIV, chronic viral hepatitis and haematological oncology.
The Program aims to help bridge a gap in local Australian research funding.
Funding
For the 2018 Research Grants Program, the total funding available is $250,000. It is anticipated that at least one project will be funded in each of the three therapeutic areas: HIV, chronic viral hepatitis, and haematological oncology.
Eligibility
The Research Grants Program provides funding for clinical and academic staff at Australian hospitals, clinics, universities and research institutes, young investigators, nurses, GPs and other healthcare providers/researchers from professional organisations, in both urban and rural areas.
