Animal Ethics Committee Volunteer members needed

The Animal Ethics Committee serves an important regulatory role in the approval of research at the University. Currently we are seeking volunteers to expand the pool of members.

We have particular needs for:

  • Category B (people with substantial and recent experience in the use of animals for scientific or teaching purposes)
  • Category C (people with demonstrable commitment to, and established experience in, furthering the welfare of animals), and
  • Category D (members of the public who have never been involved in the use of animals for scientific or teaching purposes, either in their employment or beyond their undergraduate education).
