Through its Research Grants program Paramedics Australasia (PA) encourages and supports individuals and/or groups to undertake scientific research, which will further develop information and knowledge in paramedicine.
The Board of PA has identified three streams of research that it feels are of significant importance to improve the underpinning scientific knowledge of the paramedicine profession:
- Paramedic Education
- Clinical Efficacy
- Professionalism
Research support requests may be made for financial support, data access, in-kind support, publishing support or assistance with the circulation of research materials (e.g. online surveys).
Funding
Grants are generally, but not always, limited to a maximum of $5,000 per project.
