Crowdfunding is the increasingly popular practice of funding a project or campaign by soliciting relatively small donations or contributions of money from a large number of people, typically through a web-based platform.
If you have a project ready to go, that you believe will appeal to a wide audience, please submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) by 29 November 2017. EOIs will be assessed weekly during the open round.
A Selection Panel will recommend EOIs for approval. Once an EOI is approved, staff from External Relations and Marketing and Communications will liaise with the Project leaders to develop the Crowdfunding Project. Please note, Crowdfunding requires a significant time commitment by the research team.
- The Scope of Projects is limited to Crowdfunding activities of the University as defined in the Crowdfunding Policy
- University of Adelaide staff, students and affiliated titleholders are eligible to apply.
- A Final Report must be submitted to Research Services within three months of completion of the Crowdfunding Pilot Project.
