Animal Ethics Committees (AEC) – Animal Ethics Training Day: The Use of Animals in Research & Teaching – What You Need to Know

About this Event

Attendance at an approved Animal Ethics Training Session must take place as soon as possible after commencing research or teaching involving animal use or observation.

The following training sessions will be held on 13 April 2018:

8.30am – 1pm – “The Use of Animals in Research & Teaching – What You Need To Know.”

A half day Introductory or Induction Level course for new staff, honours and postgraduate students will be conducted by the Animal Ethics committees of the University of Adelaide, the University of South Australia, SA Pathology/CALHN, Women’s & Children’s Health Network and SAHMRI.

2pm – 4pm – Animal Ethics Continuing Professional Development/Refresher Course: Face to Face Seminar

A half day course for experienced staff and postgraduate students will be conducted by the Animal Ethics committees of the University of Adelaide, the University of South Australia, SA Pathology/CALHN, Women’s & Children’s Health Network and SAHMRI.
