Heart Foundation: Vanguard Grants 2018

Vanguard Grants give funding to test the feasibility of innovative concepts in public health or health services, including clinical service delivery.

They are available to researchers for a concept study with the potential to improve cardiovascular health in the short term.

Vanguard Grants encourage research and innovation in clinical or public health interventions and cardiovascular health practices. They are designed to facilitate feasibility testing that may lead to larger, more rigorous testing in the future. The projects will provide tangible outcomes with the potential to improve cardiovascular health.

Funding & Duration

Grants are awarded at up to $75,000 for one year.


Vanguard grants are open to all cardiovascular researchers.

This award does not fund basic clinical or biomedical research.
