Worldwide Cancer Research awards grants to support fundamental or translational research into the causes, mechanisms, diagnosis, treatment or prevention of cancer.
Clinical research, including clinical trials, patient care, nursing or healthcare delivery research is not supported, nor applied cancer research such as policy, public health, or psychosocial research.
Funding & Duration
The maximum budget allowed is £250,000 (approx AUD $500,000) for projects spanning between 12 and 36 months.
The principal investigator must be a suitably qualified researcher (minimum of PhD followed by three years research experience, or equivalent qualification or research experience).
