Combating Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria Biopharmaceutical Accelerator (CARB-X): Collaborative Hub for Early Antibiotic Discovery

The Combating Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria Biopharmaceutical Accelerator (CARB-X) invites applications for its collaborative hub for early antibiotic discovery.

This supports academic investigators to evaluate and accelerate the development of promising small molecule therapeutics toward investigational new-drug and device-exemption application.

The hub also provides an environment where academic laboratories engaged in antimicrobial research can network and collaborate together, with the goal of advancing innovation and productivity in antibiotic discovery.

Projects that focus on developing small-molecule therapeutics that target infection by antibiotic resistant pathogens; projects targeting Gram-negative bacterial infection will be prioritised.

Groups from any non-profit research institution may apply for support.
