European Food Safety Authority: Crowd Source Challenge – Automated Data Extraction

The European Food Safety Authority invites applications for its crowd source challenge – automated data extraction. This supports software experts and amateur computer enthusiasts in developing information extraction algorithms to identify data elements from a full-text scientific article.

The ideal solution is a tool that can perform all meaningful and relevant information and data extraction from texts, graphs and images.


The prize is worth up to €23,000 (approx AUD $37,000)
