The National Institute on Aging invites applications for its in vivo synaptic function in Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (R21 clinical trial not allowed) funding opportunity.
This supports the study of in vivo synaptic structure and function in Alzheimer’s and related dementias and aims to advance development of methods to study synapses in animal models and humans.
Funding & Duration
The combined budget for direct costs for the two-year project period may not exceed US $275,000 (approx AUD $363,000)
Eligibility
Non-domestic (non-U.S.) Entities (Foreign Institutions) are eligible to apply.
Submission Requirements & Due Date
- Applications open on 16 May 2018 and are due by 5pm local time of applicant organisation every June, October, and February until 2021.
- Applications must be submitted for internal review by 2 October 2018
