US NIH National Institute of Nursing Research: New Onset Depressive Symptoms in Acute Illness

The National Institute of Nursing Research and the National Institute of Mental Health invite applications for their new onset depressive symptoms in acute illness (R21 clinical trial not allowed) funding opportunity.

This encourages research on the aetiology of depressive symptoms that occur in the context of a sudden onset acute illness.

Funding & Duration

The combined budget for direct costs for the two-year project period may not exceed US $275,000 (approx AUD $363,000).


Non-domestic (non-U.S.) Entities (Foreign Institutions) are eligible to apply.
