Autism Speaks invites applications for its treatment research grants.
Grants support innovative studies of novel treatments and interventions for people with autism spectrum disorder throughout the life span. These may include medical approaches such as pharmacological treatments and complementary and alternative forms of health care, as well as behavioural or psychosocial interventions.
The aim is to facilitate the clinical testing of promising life-enhancing interventions.
Funding & Duration
Two grants, worth up to USD $750,000 (approx. AUD $991,000) over three years each, are available.
Investigators holding full-time faculty appointments, professional affiliations or equivalent at accredited academic, medical, research or educational institutions may apply.
Postdoctoral fellows who have a strong team and can show proof of a full-time faculty appointment by the expected grant start, are also eligible.

- 18 July 2018 – Letter of Intent (LOI) submitted directly to Sponsor
- 12 September 2018 – invited applications submitted for internal review.
