This opportunity uses the R01 Research Project Grant funding mechanism.
This initiative will support research to determine the roles and interactions of immune cells at the maternal-fetal interface throughout pregnancy, including mechanisms of responses to vaccination and infection, or ionizing radiation, that protect or impact the fetus and that may influence fetal immune system development.
Funding & Duration
Application budgets are not limited but need to reflect the actual needs of the proposed project.
The scope of the proposed study should determine the project period. The maximum project period is 5 years.
Non-domestic (non-U.S.) Entities (Foreign Institutions) are eligible to apply.

- 4 September 2018 – Letter of Intent (LOI) via Grants.Gov submission portal.
- 20 September 2018 – full applications submitted for internal review.
