US NIH National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA): Alcohol use disorders – behavioral treatment, services and recovery research (R21 clinical trial optional): AIDS-related

This opportunity uses the R21 Exploratory/Developmental Research Grants funding mechanism.

This award encourages grant applications from institutions/organisations that propose to support research on behavioural treatment for alcohol use disorders; organisational, financial, and management factors that facilitate or inhibit the delivery of services for alcohol use disorders; and phenomenon of recovery from alcohol use disorders.

Funding & Duration

The combined budget for direct costs for the two year project period may not exceed USD $275,000 (approx. AUD $372,000). No more than $200,000 (approx. AUD $271,000) may be requested in any single year.

The project period may not exceed two years.

Eligibility

Non-domestic (non-U.S.) Entities (Foreign Institutions) are eligible to apply.
