US National Institutes of Health: Elucidating the Functional Roles of Non-Coding RNAs in Viral Infectious Diseases (R21 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)

This opportunity uses the R21 Exploratory/Developmental Research Grants funding mechanism.

Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) Number: RFA-AI-18-025

The purpose of this announcement is to support Exploratory/Developmental Grant (R21) applications to uncover functional roles of non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) in viral infectious diseases. Importantly, studies should focus on functional characterisation and mechanistic studies of previously identified ncRNAs.

Funding & Duration

The combined budget for direct costs for the two-year project period may not exceed USD $275,000 (approx. AUD $374,000). No more than USD $200,000 (approx. AUD $272,000) may be requested in any single year.

Non-domestic (non-U.S.) Entities (Foreign Institutions) are eligible to apply.
