Simons Foundation: Targeted Grants for Mathematical and Physical Sciences

The program is intended to support established institutes or centers in mathematics, theoretical physics, and theoretical computer science, through funding to help strengthen contacts within the international scientific community.

Funding & Duration

The Targeted Grants to Institutes program provides funding for up to five years and up to USD $200,000 (approx. AUD $269,000) per year, which includes 20 percent per year in indirect costs to the institution.


Established US and foreign public and private educational and non-profit institutes and research centres may apply.
