The US Department of State, via the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor, invites statements of interest for its call on internet freedom – annual programme statement.
This supports projects that protect the open, inter-operable, secure, and reliable internet by promoting fundamental freedoms, human rights, and the free flow of information online through integrated support to civil society for technology, digital safety, policy, and advocacy and applied research programmes.
Funding
Grants are worth between USD $500,000 and $3M (approx. AUD $673,000 and $4.035M) each.
Eligibility
US and foreign non-profit, for-profit and non-governmental organisations, as well as public international organisations and businesses may apply.
