This opportunity uses the R01 Research Project Grant funding mechanism.
The overall aims of the programme are to catalyse discoveries in basic molecular and cellular biology that provide new insights into the pathogenesis, prevention, detection and potential treatment of disease.
The scheme aims to attract new investigators into basic and translational haematology research, to promote productive interdisciplinary research collaborations, and to reinforce interactions and communication between the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, and the haematology research community.
Funding & Duration
Application budgets are not limited but need to reflect the actual needs of the proposed project.
The maximum project period is five years.
Non-domestic (non-U.S.) Entities (Foreign Institutions) are eligible to apply.
