The Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation and the Musculoskeletal Transplant Foundation invite applications for their MTF Biologics research grant. This offers seed money for new investigators conducting research on biologic skeletal reconstruction, including implants and stem cells.
Research may be basic or clinical, and it must be of clinical relevance.
Funding & Duration
The grant is worth USD $49,000 (approx. AUD $69,000) per year for two years.
The primary or co-investigator must be an orthopaedic surgeon.
PhDs and doctors of veterinary medicines are eligible if they are affiliated with an orthopaedic department.
