Possible topics include experimentation, forecasting, predictive modelling, survey modelling, and sampling.

Three grants, worth USD $50,000 each (approx. AUD $70,00), are available.

Payment will be made to the proposer’s host university as an unrestricted gift.

Proposals will be prioritised that are pragmatic, use-inspired, and grounded in empirical applications. Special attention will be paid to proposals that include plans for producing useful, easy-to-use, open-source software as part of the research output.
