US NIH National Cancer Institute: Quantitative Imaging Tools and Methods for Cancer Response Assessment (R01 Clinical Trial Optional)

This opportunity uses the R01 Research Project Grant funding mechanism.

This award supports the clinical translation of already optimised quantitative imaging software tools, capable of measuring or predicting the response of cancer to clinical therapies or tools, for planning and validating radiation therapy treatment strategies in clinical trials. Projects should be an extension of research that successfully developed and optimised the chosen software tools and data collection methods and should demonstrate that the tools can be integrated into clinical workflow with minimum disruption.

Funding & Duration

Grants are worth up to USD $500,000 (approx. AUD $695,000) per year for a maximum period of five years.


Non-domestic (non-U.S.) Entities (Foreign Institutions) are eligible to apply.
