The US Department of State, on behalf of its Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor, invites expressions of interest for its internet freedom annual programme statement. This supports programmes that contribute towards protecting an open, inter-operable, secure and reliable internet by promoting fundamental freedoms, human rights and the free flow of information online through integrated support to civil society for technology, digital safety, policy and advocacy, and applied research programmes.
Funding & Duration
Grants are worth between USD $500,000 and $3M each (approx. AUD $706,000 and $4.2M).
Eligibility
US and foreign-based NGOs and public international organisations may apply.
