This supports early-stage research and development to advance the reliable, resilient, secure and affordable integration of solar energy onto the US electric grid. The goal is to foster innovation and enable integrated multi-technology solutions to advance the widespread adoption of solar power.
Funding & Duration
Grants are worth between USD $2M and USD $10M (AUD $2.83M and $14.15M) for up to three years.
US and foreign entities may apply independently or form a consortium. If non-US entities wish to apply as prime recipients and do not designate a US subsidiary or affiliate, they must explicitly request a waiver of this requirement in the application
Submission Requirements & Due Dates
- 14 November 2018 – Letter of Intent (LOI) submitted to Sponsor
- 30 November 2018 – full applications submitted for internal review.
