US Agency for International Development: Quality health initiative – maternal, neonatal and child health in Mozambique

The US Agency for International Development invites applications for its quality health initiative call. This supports the government of Mozambique in improving maternal, neonatal and child health outcomes in the country through increasing the productivity and efficiency of facility-based care, with a focus on improving client satisfaction and outcomes. This will be achieved by assisting the province of Nampula in establishing itself as a model province for improving provision and increasing utilisation of health services in a sustainable manner, and supporting the central ministry of health in incorporating lessons learned from Nampula into a national system for quality improvement.

Funding & Duration

One grant is available, worth between USD $15M and $39M (approx. AUD $21M and $54M) for five years


Non-domestic (non-U.S.) Entities (Foreign Institutions) are eligible to apply.
