US National Multiple Sclerosis Society: Pilot Research Grants

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society invites applications for its pilot research grants. These support unique or innovative ideas with the potential to open new areas of research on multiple sclerosis. Projects with little or no data should apply. Fundamental or applied studies, either clinical or not, are eligible, including projects on patient management, care and rehabilitation.

Funding & Duration

Grants are each worth up to USD $50,000 (approx. AUD $69,500) in direct costs for one year.

Applicants must have completed their postdoctoral training and be affiliated with an established research institution. They may not apply if they already have a pilot research grant that expires after the application date. Applicants whose original pilot research proposals were not approved for funding are permitted one resubmission.
