Wellcome Trust: Global Forum on Bioethics in Research Project Fellowships

The Wellcome Trust, under the Global Forum on Bioethics in Research, invites applications for its project fellowships. These support specific projects, the outputs of which may be conference presentations, academic papers or similar. The aim of the GFBR is to promote new global South-South or North-South collaboration.

Grants are normally worth up to USD $10,000 (approx. AUD $14,000) but higher amounts may be considered in exceptional cases.

Applicants must have attended the most recent GFBR meeting and projects should be relevant to the meeting’s subject matter. Academic outputs should not be sole-authored pieces or collaborations solely with others from the applicant’s current institution. Applications for conference attendance as a stand-alone activity will not be considered. Applicants may only apply to one GFBR fellowship per year.
