About ON Prime
The Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation invites applications for its ON prime programme. This helps research teams in validating their research and discovering a real world application for it. The programme provides the opportunity to test paths for intellectual property, know-how or technology through a process of customer discovery and market validation, and helps unlock entrepreneurial knowledge in relation to the teams’ research. Teams work alongside experienced facilitators and ON mentor network of business leaders and entrepreneurs.
Eligibility
The programme is open to teams with at least one research employee from CSIRO, Australian universities or Australia’s publicly funded research agencies. The research employee may be a full-time, part-time or casual employee of a PFRA.
Program and Funding
The commitment to ON Prime is approximately five face-to-face sessions across eight weeks. Each programme culminates in a final showcase event. Teams may receive up to AUD $5,000 as performance bonus throughout the programme. The programme runs from 6 May to 2 August 2019.
